Greatest Idea Ever. Of All Time.

A little story for you

Now this is a story about how
My life got flipped, turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute, sit right there
I'll tell you how I became the friend of a Doctor called Who

In west Scotland born and raised
In the bedroom I spent most of my days
Playing, drawing, relaxing all cool
But worrying about a crack in my wall
When a ragedy man came, up to no good
Complaining about all my food.
When he realised it wasn't so hard
He said only one thing, "Fish fingers and Custard"

I showed him the crack in my wall
He pointed a screwdriver, it was all
glowing, whistling and some sort of cry
And out came peering a giant eye

He left me with fears
For a whole 12 years
For that I hated
But I will always be, The girl who waited

So I'm Writing a Book

Yeah, I've decided to write a book. It's called "Dating Encounters of the Nerd Kind"
I guess from time to time, I'll post little snippets on this blog but nothing too revealing as I kinda wanna get it published.

This is how I feel....

Hacked Website

Don't go to www.therpf.com anymore. It was hacked by some men in Russia and they are now running the website illegally. A new replica prop forum has been opened up with all data transferred to www.thereplicapropforum.com If you have an account with The RPF, make sure to change your password ASAP.

And so the new age begins...

It has been announced that DnD 5th Edition will be coming out sometime soon and tbh I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!
Nothing has really been mentioned about it yet, but they are looking for testers for the new ed.

Sorry

Sorry for not posting as much recently, its just I've been really busy the past week with The Old Republic and just general things to do in the holidays. I should be starting to post more regularly soon.

Top 5 of 2011

I thought I  might do a top 5 list of the games of 2011. I've seen a lot of them online but these are my opinions.
5. Dead Island - I know many people have given it poor reviews and its buggy as hell, but there's a sense of accomplishment when you decapitate 3 zombies with one swing or blow up a mate by shooting a explosive barrel next to them.
4. Lord of the Rings War in the North - This one is on more for it's story. It's good to actually get a new Lord of the Rings story that wasn't shit like The Third Age. Plus it's good to have a new Lord of the Rings game overall as well.
3. Bastion - I'm not one for buying indie games, but I saw a let's play of it and I knew I had to have it. After a few minutes of playing it, my whole perspective on Indie games had changed and it was because of Bastion that  I have started to look more into the Indie game market.
2. Skyrim - While not being the best Elder Scrolls game, it still was good to get back into it's world though. I had a contradictory mind on what Skyrim was going to be like, was it going to be as good as Oblivion of Morrowind or is it going to falter like Fallout: New Vegas. In the end, it was in between those two outcomes. I still loved the game and have put in countless hours into playing it.
1. The Old Republic - Even though I have only been playing it for the past few days, I believe it to be my most favorite game of 2011. I think instead of giving a full explanation, I will give you short one or two word points that describe the awesomeness of this game. Star Wars, Story, Multiplayer, Space Combat, Flashpoints, Group Heroics, Music. And I guess there is one other major point why I love it. Finally we get a sequel to Knights of the Old Republic.

Merry Christmas All

So it's Christmas in my little part of the world and it couldn't have gone better so far. But bloody hell, 16.4gb install for The Old Republic. I guess it's all the sound files.
